'Healthy Goals' Huge Success at Auldhouse

The weather could certainly have been a little kinder, but it did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm as walking footballers from across Scotland headed to Auldhouse for Walking Football Scotland’s inaugural Healthy Goals event.

This was a WFS event with a difference. No medals, no scores and no fixed teams. Instead, Healthy Goals was introduced into our playing calendar to celebrate and highlight the physical, mental and social health benefits that walking football can bring.

Players from Saints Walking Football in Kirkcudbright, Duncanrig EK, Midlothian Ladies, Drumchapel Utd, Rangers FFIT, East Kilbride Gerihatricks and hosts Giffnock SC enjoyed plenty of game time, mixing teams throughout the day, meeting new people and creating new friendships — with fun and wellbeing at the heart of everything.

Importantly, the event also brought together a number of organisations working to support the health of our players, including Parkinson’s UK Scotland, SAMH, Age Scotland, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland and the Scottish Prostate Cancer Initiative, with an incredible 440 men tested throughout the day.

The Scottish Football Union and Southern Sound Hospital Radio were also on hand, speaking with players and health partners about the support available and hearing first-hand about the difference walking football is making to people’s lives.

A huge thank you to every player and club who embraced the concept and helped make the first Healthy Goals such a success, and a special thank you to Giffnock SC for hosting us at their terrific Auldhouse facilities.

A particular well done must go to WFS Trustee Martin ‘Jacky’ Jack, whose vision and organisation brought the event to life. 👏

Healthy Goals represents exactly the direction we want to continue travelling as an organisation. Walking football is already helping thousands of people across Scotland stay active, connected and involved — but we want to explore even more ways of using our game to support the health and wellbeing of our players.

Hopefully everyone who attended left not only having enjoyed a great day of walking football, but with a greater understanding of the positive difference the game can make physically, mentally and socially.

This was the first Healthy Goals — but certainly not the last. 💙⚽❤️

WFS O50's Men's West of Scotland Leagues

The WFS O50’s Men’s West of Scotland Leagues reach their conclusion this Sunday at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, with titles, Champions League places, promotion and relegation all still to be decided.

In the Premiership, Saint Anthony’s – Greens head into the final day with a two-point lead at the top, but a mouth-watering clash awaits in their second fixture when they take on fellow title challengers Carrick WFC. With the remaining Champions League places also up for grabs and the relegation battle still to be settled, it promises to be an exciting finish from top to bottom.

The Championship couldn’t be tighter! The top two, WEBATA and Motherwell Phoenix are level on points, while only three points separate the top four clubs. With such fine margins, the title and promotion places could change hands several times throughout the day.

In the Conference, Alloa Athletic are in the driving seat, holding a four-point advantage over Morton FC. They will be hoping to finish the job on Sunday – but could there still be one final twist in the tale?

Three divisions. Everything still to play for. One final league day! 🏆⚽

We wish all our teams and players the very best for Sunday and look forward to a fantastic conclusion to the 2026 West O50’s season at Ravenscraig.

Arthur Duncan Award 2026

𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 2026

‘𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅’

Arthur Duncan became involved in walking football in 2015 when the Healthy Hearts Club at Stirling Sports Village laid the foundations for a new group. From his very first session, Arthur became a passionate advocate for walking football, recognising its power to improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection for older adults.

A talented graphic artist, Arthur made an enormous creative contribution to Walking Football Scotland (WFS). Together with former Chair Gary McLaughlin, he designed the iconic WFS logo before generously assigning full copyright to the organisation. Arthur's creativity extended far beyond the logo, producing leaflets, programmes and graphics that helped promote walking football across Scotland.

While his work supported countless projects, it is the WFS logo—proudly inspired by his beloved Saltire—that remains his lasting legacy and continues to represent walking football throughout Scotland.

To honour Arthur's remarkable contribution, Walking Football Scotland established the Arthur Duncan Memorial Award in 2022. Previous recipients have been:

  • 2022 – Mags Muir (Carnoustie Panmure)

  • 2023 – Colin Craig (Drumchapel United)

  • 2024 – Billy Brown (Edinburgh City)

  • 2025 – David Callaghan & Jenny Hammond (Linlithgow Rose CFC)

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Arthur Duncan Memorial Award.

We invite all WFS Member Clubs and Regional Representatives to nominate an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to walking football within their club, community or across Scotland.

Nominations should be no more than 200 words and clearly explain why the nominee deserves this prestigious award. The successful nominee should demonstrate dedication, commitment and a lasting positive impact on walking football and those around them.

Please note: Each club may submit one nomination only.

Nominations are open from today until 12 noon on Monday 2nd November 2026.

Please email your nomination to matt@walkingfootballscotland.org with the subject line:

Arthur Duncan Memorial Award 2026 Nomination

The recipient will be announced early 2027.

Help us celebrate the volunteers, players and individuals whose passion and commitment continue to make walking football stronger across Scotland.

(Please include a photograph in you email of your nomination so that we can share and announce all nominees.)

O50’s Men’s East of Scotland Leagues - Forfar Athletic, Carnoustie Panmure, Letham Angus - Champions!

The WFS O50’s Men’s East of Scotland Leagues concluded today at RPC Dundee, bringing the curtain down on another fantastic competitive season in the East.

In the Premiership, Forfar Athletic arrived already knowing they were 2026 champions – but they finished the job in style by completing the entire league season unbeaten. 🏆

Forfar were presented with the Premiership trophy and winners’ medals by former Forfar Athletic legend Ray Farningham, a fitting way to celebrate another superb season and back-to-back league titles.

There was still plenty to play for behind the champions, with the remaining Champions League places up for grabs. Congratulations to Dundee East CSC, who secured second place, and Linlithgow Rose CFC, who finished third, with both clubs qualifying for the 2027 WFS Champions League.

The Championship simply couldn’t have been any tighter! After a season-long battle, Carnoustie Panmure were crowned champions on goal difference – by just TWO GOALS over Dunfermline Dynamos! What an incredible way for the title to be decided. 🏆

Congratulations also to Dunfermline Dynamos, who finish as runners-up and, importantly, still secure promotion to the Premiership for 2027 alongside champions Carnoustie Panmure.

The Conference promised drama with only three points separating the top four going into today – and it certainly delivered. Congratulations to Letham Angus, who were crowned Conference Champions, while Tayport – Whites secured second place. Both will now make the step up to the Championship for the 2027 season. 👏

A huge thank you to Regional League Co-ordinator David Callaghan and Regional Representative Jenny Hammond for all their hard work and support throughout the season, as well as our referees, clubs and players who have contributed to another excellent year of O50’s walking football in the East.

Congratulations to our champions, promoted clubs and Champions League qualifiers – and thank you to everyone who has made the 2026 season such a success! ⚽🏆

WFS O75's Men's Premiership

The inaugural WFS O75’s Men’s National Premiership reaches its conclusion on Friday 9th October at Toryglen Regional Football Centre, with history waiting to be made as our first-ever champions prepare to be crowned. 🏆

Fife Wanderers head into the final league day in pole position, holding a five-point advantage over nearest challengers Ayr United.

And the fixture list has thrown up a huge encounter, with Fife and Ayr going head-to-head in Match 2 – Fife’s opening fixture of the day. Can Fife hold their nerve and take a major step towards becoming the first-ever WFS O75’s National Premiership Champions, or will Ayr Utd produce a twist in the tale?

There is plenty more at stake throughout the table too, with Champions League qualification still to be decided. The clubs finishing in the top four will earn their place at the WFS Champions League on Monday 30th November, where they will compete for the coveted Champions League trophy.

After a fantastic first season for our newest men’s age category, it all comes down to one final day at Toryglen.

We wish all our teams and players the very best for the final round – who will make history and become our inaugural O75’s National Premiership Champions? ⚽🏆

Player of the Month (September) - Joe McCabe & Carol Gilbert

As September comes to an end, we’re proud to once again shine a spotlight on the people who make Walking Football Scotland’s Players of the Month so special—once again in partnership with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

🌟 September Women’s Player of the Month
Carol Gilbert (64) – Oriam Ladies

🌟 September Men’s Player of the Month
Joe McCabe (72) - Linlithgow Rose CFC

Huge congratulations to Carol and Joe!

Both shared their reflections on what walking football means to them, highlighting the friendships, health benefits and sense of belonging that keep our community moving forward 💙⚽

Why did you get involved in walking football?

Carol: “I have always loved football but, other than a spell in my 20’s when a group of my friends decided to start up a ladies team, have never really had the chance to play proper games. Walking football has been the perfect way for me to get involved in the game at an older age.”

Joe: “As I was getting older Walking football was a way to keep playing football and being active.”

What positive impact has walking football had on your life?

Carol: “Walking football has given me a new lease of life. I have always tried to stay active but it’s not always easy to motivate myself. However, I will happily chase a ball around for an hour or so and get a really good workout without seeing it as ‘exercise’. I think I am a whole lot fitter now than I have been in years. It has also given me the opportunity to meet likeminded folk and make new friendships.”

Joe: “The interaction with players of a like mind and who enjoy football has had a positive affect on my physical and wellbeing.”

What would you say to encourage others to come along?

Carol: “If you like or even just want to try football, want to keep fit and meet new folk give it a try. Life is for living and we only have one chance so don’t put it off. I wish I had found it years ago.”

Joe: “Don’t dismiss walking football until you try it and I am sure you will benefit from the interaction and the social aspect.”

WFS O50's Men's East of Scotland Leagues

The WFS O50’s Men’s East of Scotland Leagues reach their conclusion this Sunday at RPC Dundee, with titles, Champions League places and relegation all still to be decided across a huge final day of the 2026 season.

In the Premiership, one thing is already certain – Forfar Athletic are Champions! 🏆 After securing the title with a round to spare, Forfar can look forward to receiving their league trophy and winners’ medals on Sunday.

Behind them, however, it couldn’t be much tighter. The final two Champions League places are still up for grabs, while the battle to avoid relegation will also go right to the wire. Just three points separate 2nd and 5th, meaning every point could make a huge difference. Who will secure a Champions League place, and who will manage to survive?

The Championship is also set for a dramatic finish. With three matches remaining, Carnoustie Panmure are in the driving seat, holding a two-point advantage over Dunfermline Dynamos at the top. The Championship title remains up for grabs, while at the other end of the table there is still the small matter of avoiding the drop.

And finally, the Conference could hardly be closer, with only three points separating the top four clubs. With so little between the leading sides, the standings could change several times throughout the day.

One thing is for sure – there are still a few twists and turns to come before the final whistle blows on the 2026 East O50’s season!

We wish all our teams and players the very best for Sunday’s final fixtures and look forward to an exciting conclusion at RPC Dundee. ⚽🏆

WFS O70’s Men’s East Premiership

The WFS O70’s Men’s East of Scotland Premiership resumed today at Oriam National Performance Centre – and the title race couldn’t be much tighter heading into the final league day!

Alloa Athletic arrived at Oriam with a perfect record of six wins from six, but after dropping points today, their advantage at the top has been cut to just ONE POINT.

That leaves Fife Wanderers right on their heels, with everything still to play for as the 2026 Premiership season approaches its conclusion.

And what a finish we have in store – Alloa Athletic and Fife Wanderers still have to face each other in the final round of fixtures! With only one point separating them, that meeting could prove decisive in determining who lifts the O70’s East Premiership trophy. 🏆

A big thank you to all our players, clubs and referees, along with Regional League Co-ordinator David Callaghan, for another excellent day of competitive walking football at Oriam.

Club News

It’s time for another round-up of news from across the Walking Football Scotland community, with plenty happening both at home and further afield.

From sharing the latest developments within WFS and supporting clubs across the country, to Scottish teams travelling to Portugal and communities coming together to raise funds for a fantastic cause, there has been plenty to celebrate.

Jacky Visits Largs to Talk All Things Walking Football ⚽💙

WFS Trustee Martin Jack (Jacky) was delighted to be invited along to a recent Largs Walking Football Club session in Inverclyde.

Jacky had the opportunity to meet players and speak about all things walking football, including the continued development of the game across Scotland and the work being undertaken by Walking Football Scotland.

He also shared more about our upcoming Healthy Goals initiative on Sunday 4th October, which will bring together football, health and wellbeing as we look to encourage people to become more active and connected.

A big thank you to everyone at Largs WFC for the warm welcome and for giving Jacky the opportunity to spend some time with the group. 👏⚽

Clubs Back in the Algarve ☀️⚽

Ayr United were once again flying the flag at the annual Algarve Walking Football Cup in Vilamoura, with their Over 60s and Over 65s taking part.

The Over 60s narrowly missed out in the final of the Consolation Bowl, while the Over 65s finished fourth overall.

There was also individual recognition for Chris Fleming, who was voted the Over 65s MVP of the tournament by the referees — a fantastic achievement.

Well done to everyone who represented Ayr United and enjoyed another memorable trip to Portugal. 🇵🇹👏

Also enjoying some Portuguese sunshine were Sauchie Juniors, who returned to the Algarve Walking Football Cup for an impressive ninth time.

The annual trip has become a firm fixture in the Sauchie calendar, with the club enjoying plenty of success across a number of different categories over the years.

Another week of football, friendship and plenty of good memories for the Sauchie group, continuing a fantastic relationship with one of the biggest events on the international walking football calendar. 👏☀️⚽

There was further Scottish contingent in Vilamoura as Forfar Athletic travelled to Portugal looking to defend the title they won at last year's Algarve Walking Football Cup.

Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for the club who’ll be lifting the O50’s East of Scotland Premiership title in a few weeks time.

Congratulations to all the players who represented their clubs in Portugal.

Walking Football Raises £740 for Fairfield Food Larder ❤️⚽

Football and fundraising came together at a recent walking football festival organised in support of the Fairfield Food Larder.

Clubs and players came together to enjoy the game while supporting an important local cause, with an excellent £740 raised for the food larder.

Events like this continue to demonstrate the wider impact walking football clubs can have within their communities, using the game to bring people together while supporting those who need it.

A huge well done to everyone who organised, played, donated and helped make the festival such a success. 👏❤️

A Special Day for Parkinson’s Walking Footballers 💙⚽

It was a fantastic day at the club as the Parkinson’s Walking Football group were invited along with their wives and partners to enjoy Saturday’s first-team match.

The day became even more memorable at half-time when the group were invited onto the pitch for a kick-about in front of the supporters.

Their appearance was met with a fantastic standing ovation from the crowd, providing a special moment of recognition for the players and the programme.

It was a brilliant example of the connection between a football club and its wider community, while shining a spotlight on the opportunities walking football provides for people living with Parkinson’s to stay active, connected and involved in the game they love.

A wonderful moment for the players, their families and everyone involved in the programme. 👏💙⚽

Richard Hits the Road Supporting WFS Clubs 🚗⚽

WFS Coach Liaison Officer Richard Sinclair has certainly been clocking up the miles over the past month as he continues to visit and support clubs across Scotland.

Richard has recently spent time with Scone, St James and Dunbar, meeting coaches and players, observing sessions and offering support as part of WFS's commitment to helping clubs and coaches continue to develop.

These visits are a great opportunity for clubs to discuss their coaching, sessions and any areas where WFS can provide additional guidance or support.

If your club would like a visit from Richard, please get in touch with Walking Football Scotland and we'll be delighted to arrange it. 👏⚽

Portree Pirates Deliver Walking Football Friendship Trophy 🤝⚽

On 4th October, Portree Pirates (Isle of Skye) delivered the Walking Football Friendship Trophy, bringing four teams together for a fantastic day of football, friendship and good-natured competition.

Tain made the journey across the Inner Minch with two teams, joining Portree Pirates and the Skye Female Football Team for the round-robin event.

St Duthus of Tain enjoyed a strong tournament and battled their way through to the final, where they faced an impressive Skye Female Football Team. Skye showed excellent movement and passing throughout the competition and produced another strong performance in the final to become worthy winners of the trophy. 🏆

Tain Walking Football also put in a great effort throughout the day, creating plenty of opportunities but unable to convert enough of their chances, while Portree Pirates enjoyed being back in action following a few weeks away from playing.

A big well done to Portree Pirates for delivering the event and to everyone from Tain and Skye who took part. Hopefully the Friendship Trophy will return again next year and continue to bring walking football communities together. 👏⚽💙

Drumchapel United Take Walking Football International! ✈️⚽

Drumchapel United’s walking footballers were off on their travels recently, with a group heading overseas to proudly represent the club at the Formentera International Football Tournament.

Swapping Scotland for the Spanish sunshine, the trip provided another fantastic opportunity for the players to pull on the Drumchapel colours, experience football in an international setting and, just as importantly, enjoy the camaraderie and friendships that come with travelling together as a team.

Opportunities like these show just how far walking football can take you — creating new experiences, new friendships and plenty of memories along the way.

Well done to everyone from Drumchapel United who made the journey and proudly represented their club on the international stage. 🌍👏⚽

More Than Just the Game 💙

Another fantastic collection of stories showing the many different sides of walking football across Scotland — from success on the international stage and supporting coaches and clubs, to fundraising, friendship and sharing the continued development of our game.

Congratulations and thank you to all the players, coaches, volunteers, clubs and supporters featured in this edition. Your enthusiasm and commitment continue to make walking football a thriving and welcoming community across Scotland. 👏⚽💙

WFS O70's Men's East Premiership

The WFS O70’s Men’s East of Scotland Premiership recommences this Friday at Oriam National Performance Centre, with the 2026 season entering its second half and the title race beginning to heat up.

Alloa Athletic currently lead the way after an outstanding opening half of the campaign, recording a perfect six wins from six matches to sit top of the Premiership.

But they certainly don’t have things all their own way. Fife Wanderers remain firmly in the title hunt, sitting just three points behind Alloa as the teams prepare to return to action.

With valuable points up for grabs and the season moving towards its closing stages, can Alloa maintain their perfect record, or will Fife close the gap at the top?

We wish all our teams and players the very best for Friday’s fixtures and look forward to another excellent day of competitive walking football at Oriam. ⚽🏆

SWF WFS O40’s Women’s Leagues - Oriam Champions!

🏆 ORIAM LADIES CROWNED WFS O40’S WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS! 🏆

With one final league date still to come, Oriam Ladies have been crowned 2026 WFS SWF O40’s Women’s Championship Champions following another outstanding day at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.

What an incredible debut season it has been. Competing in their first competitive walking football season, Oriam have taken the Championship by storm and have now recorded a remarkable 10 wins from 10 matches.

Today’s results have moved them an incredible 16 points clear at the top of the table with four matches still remaining, meaning the title is officially secured with a full league date to spare.

It has been a hugely impressive introduction to competitive walking football for Oriam Ladies, and they can now look forward to the final league day knowing the Championship trophy is theirs! 🏆🧡

Elsewhere, the Premiership also continued today, with Braehead FC – Reds currently sitting top of the table as the division heads towards its final league date.

A huge congratulations to Oriam Ladies on becoming Championship winners, and a big thank you to all our players, clubs, referees and regional representatives for another fantastic day of women’s walking football.

10 games. 10 wins. 16 points clear. Champions with a round to spare. What a debut season for Oriam Ladies! 🏆⚽🧡

WFS O70's Men's West Premiership

The WFS O70’s Men’s West of Scotland Premiership resumed today at Toryglen Regional Football Centre for the penultimate round of the 2026 season – and Duncanrig EK march on at the top!

Duncanrig entered the day leading the Premiership with the chasing pack still within striking distance, but another strong round of fixtures has seen them strengthen their position at the summit.

They now hold a five-point advantage at the top of the table, with just four matches remaining in the 2026 campaign.

The title is certainly not secured yet, but Duncanrig have put themselves in a strong position heading into the final league day, with their challengers knowing there is now very little margin for error.

A big thank you to all our players, clubs and referees, along with Regional League Co-ordinator Derek King, for their continued support and contribution to another excellent day of competitive walking football at Toryglen.

Four games remaining. Five points clear. Can Duncanrig EK finish the job and retain their Premiership title? ⚽🏆

Historic First as Women’s Walking Football Team of the Year Award is Launched

Walking Football Scotland is delighted to welcome the launch of the first-ever Walking Football Women’s Team of the Year award, which will be presented as part of the 2026 Scottish Women’s Football Awards on Saturday 28th November at Hampden Park.

This is a fantastic milestone for women’s walking football and another important sign of the continued growth and development of the game across Scotland.

Over recent years, we have seen more women discovering walking football, returning to the game after many years away, or pulling on a football shirt for the very first time.

Behind every team are friendships, coaches, volunteers and communities creating environments where women can be active, feel welcome, enjoy football and experience the physical, mental and social benefits the game can provide.

The new Walking Football Women’s Team of the Year award has been created to recognise exactly that.

Walking Football Scotland CEO Matt Ramsay said: “The ScottishPower SWF Awards is such a big night in the women’s game, which is why I am delighted that we are able to celebrate the success of Walking Football Scotland at the event. Walking Football makes a genuine difference to people’s lives, so it will be great to see those achievements recognised too.”

What are we looking for?

The award recognises a women’s walking football team that has made an outstanding contribution to the growth, development and positive promotion of women’s walking football in Scotland during the year.

The winning team should demonstrate the very best of walking football both on and off the pitch, creating a positive, welcoming and supportive environment for its players while representing the game with pride.

When considering your nomination, think about a team that has:

  • Demonstrated excellent teamwork, togetherness and a positive team culture.

  • Created a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment for women of different ages, abilities and footballing backgrounds.

  • Encouraged new players and women returning to football to get involved.

  • Grown or sustained participation throughout the year.

  • Demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and respect towards teammates, opponents, match officials and others involved in the game.

  • Supported the physical, mental and social wellbeing of its players.

  • Made a positive contribution to its club and local community.

  • Helped promote and raise the profile of women’s walking football.

  • Supported players, coaches and volunteers to develop and enjoy their involvement in the game.

  • Demonstrated the values and ethos of Walking Football Scotland and Scottish Women’s Football.

  • Represented women’s walking football positively both on and off the pitch.

  • Achieved success or demonstrated progress on the pitch during the year.

While competitive achievement can absolutely form part of a nomination, winning trophies is not what will determine this award.

We want to recognise a team whose culture, togetherness, progress and wider contribution make them an outstanding example of what women’s walking football in Scotland is all about.

Who deserves to be recognised?

Perhaps it is a team that has welcomed a host of new players this year.

Maybe it is a group that has helped women rediscover a love of football they thought they had left behind decades ago.

It could be a team that has achieved something special on the pitch, supported a teammate through a difficult period, grown its membership, strengthened its local community or simply created somewhere women cannot wait to return to every week.

Now is your opportunity to tell their story.

Nominations for the 2026 Scottish Women’s Football Awards are now open, and we would love to see the walking football community get behind this historic new award.

Nominate the women’s walking football team you believe deserves to be recognised and help us celebrate the incredible teams, players, coaches and volunteers who are continuing to grow our game.

Get nominating, share the award with your clubs and teammates, and help us make sure women’s walking football has a huge presence at this year’s awards. Because this first award is about more than recognising one team.

It is about celebrating just how far women’s walking football has come — and showing just how much further it can go.

SWF WFS O40's Women's Leagues

The WFS SWF O40’s Women’s Leagues return on Sunday 20th September at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, as we look forward to welcoming back both the Premiership and Championship for another important round of fixtures.

In the Premiership, it remains tight at the top, with the leading sides still battling it out for the 2026 title. With the season reaching its closing stages, every point – and potentially every goal – could make the difference as the race for the trophy continues.

In the Championship, Oriam Ladies have enjoyed a fantastic first season of competitive walking football and remain firmly in control at the top of the table.

Another strong set of results next Sunday could see Oriam extend their advantage even further and put one hand on the Championship trophy heading towards the final league day.

With plenty still to play for across both divisions, we’re looking forward to another exciting day of women’s walking football at Ravenscraig.

We wish all our teams and players the very best for next Sunday’s fixtures. ⚽🏆

WFS O70's Men's West Premiership

The WFS O70’s Men’s West Premiership returns next Friday at Toryglen Regional Football Centre, with the 2026 title race still very much alive as we enter another crucial round of fixtures.

Duncanrig EK currently sit top of the Premiership, but there is very little separating the leading contenders, with just five points covering the top three teams.

And Carrick WFC could have a huge say in how the table looks by the end of the day. Sitting in third place, Carrick face both of the teams above them during this round of fixtures, giving them the opportunity to close the gap while potentially having a major impact on the title race.

With the season approaching its conclusion and valuable points at stake, every result could prove important as Duncanrig look to maintain their position at the summit and the chasing clubs look to reel them in.

We wish all teams and players the very best for next Friday’s fixtures and look forward to another excellent day of competitive walking football at Toryglen. ⚽🏆
