Linsey Paton-Donaldson

Having first connected with Stenhousemuir FC as a business sponsor for their Men’s Walking Football programme over 10 years ago, Linsey now works with Stenhousemuir FC Community Foundation as the Community Football Co-ordinator for their adult programmes, including Walking Football. She recently joined the Board of Directors at Stenhousemuir FC. As the first female to join the Board at the club, she is looking forward to the challenges of her new role, including as Director of Women’s Football and acting as the conduit between the club Board and the Board of Trustees at the Foundation.

With a passion for community and the power of sport to change lives, Linsey has many years of experience working both commercially and voluntarily within a range of organisations. Having played football for many years, particularly through her teenage years, Linsey experienced a period of ill-health which meant she was unable to play and her options, in terms of her career path and playing recreationally, shifted dramatically. However, despite ongoing medical challenges, she found a way back to regularly playing football through Walking Football at Stenhousemuir FC. Fast forward two years and she is now proud to represent the SFC Foundation and the Club. The positive impact of Walking Football is a constant motivation and inspiration for Linsey, and she is delighted to bring her passion for improving lives through sport to her role as a WFS Trustee where she joined the board in 2024.
