WFS O60's West Premiership & Championship

The curtain comes down on our final league of the year as the WFS O60’s West Premiership and Championship reach an exciting conclusion at Toryglen this Friday.

In the Premiership, Glasgow Life hold a slender 2-point lead at the top with four games still to play. Their final match sees them go head-to-head with closest challengers Pollok Utd, setting up a potentially dramatic title decider with everything on the line.

In the Championship, Saint Anthony’s have been outstanding all season, going unbeaten so far. They require just one point from their final three matches to secure the league title and seal promotion.

With league trophies, Champions League qualification, promotion, and relegation all still to be decided, it promises to be a thrilling finale to the West of Scotland season.

We wish all teams and players the very best of luck for an exciting and competitive final day!

Peoples Ford Parkinson’s

💙 What an incredible day at the Peoples Ford Parkinson’s Walking Football Festival! 💙

Held today at Toryglen Regional Football Centre, we proudly celebrated our biggest — and now the world’s largest — Parkinson’s Walking Football Festival! 🎉

With 15 teams from across the UK, this year marked the third consecutive year of Peoples Ford’s generous sponsorship, helping us grow stronger and more impactful than ever.

🏆 Huge congratulations to Northern Lights from Liverpool, who were crowned champions after a dramatic 2-1 victory — scoring the winner with the very last kick of the ball against Penine Parkies in a stunning final!

We were especially proud to see Scottish representation from:

🍀 Celtic FC Foundation

💙 Glasgow Life

💚 Hibernian CF

💛 KA Leisure

Each team brought passion, joy, and true sporting spirit to the pitch.

An inspiring day supported by our own patron Rose Reilly MBE, along with Craig Levein, Christophe Berra, and Suzanne Winters, who helped make the festival even more special.

WFS O70's East Premiership

The WFS O70’s East Premiership reaches its finale this Friday at the Oriam National Performance Centre, and the title picture is now firmly in focus. Alloa Athletic arrive with a perfect record so far, winning all 12 of their matches and opening up an impressive 11-point lead over joint second-placed Stenhousemuir and North Lanarkshire Council, both of whom they are scheduled to face on the final day.

With four games left to play and a goal difference far superior to their nearest challengers, Alloa need just a single point to secure the championship. It would cap off a remarkable season for a side that has shown consistency, quality, and composure from start to finish already having wrapped up the O60’s & O65’s East Leagues too.

Behind them, though, the fight for the remaining Champions League places is still wide open, and with so many of the top sides meeting each other, there could be plenty of drama before the dust settles. Every goal and every moment will matter as teams look to finish their 2025 campaign on a high.

We wish all teams all the very best for what promises to be an exciting and memorable final day at Oriam.
