WFS O70's West Premiership - Duncanrig EK - Champions!

The WFS O70’s West Premiership reached its conclusion today at Toryglen Regional Football Centre, and it was Duncanrig EK who were crowned champions after a remarkable season in which they went unbeaten.

The league’s new boys have enjoyed a terrific debut campaign, showing consistency, quality, and resilience throughout. Their impressive performances see them lift the title at the first time of asking, marking a memorable introduction to the league.

Joining them in next season’s Champions League will be Ayr United, who finished strongly securing second place, and Townhead Strollers, who claim that third and final spot.

We were delighted to welcome former Rangers and Motherwell footballer Bobby Russell, who was on hand to present the Premiership trophy and medals to our winners. A huge thank you goes to Bobby for once again giving his time and offering his continued support to Walking Football Scotland.

A big thank you also to all clubs, players, referees, and regional representatives for their efforts and contribution to another fantastic season in the West.
