WFS O65’s Men’s East Leagues

The WFS O65’s Men’s East of Scotland Leagues got underway today at the Oriam National Performance Centre, marking the final league to commence for the 2026 season.

In the Premiership, Fife Wanderers made an impressive start, recording four wins from four to sit top of the table after Round 1. Last year’s champions Alloa Athletic are close behind in second place, sitting two points back after an opening match draw proved costly in the early standings.

The Championship is already shaping up exactly as expected — highly competitive. Hearts 98’s lead the way after Round 1, closely followed by Dundee East CSC, with little separating the teams in what looks set to be an exciting division.

A big thank you goes to all players, clubs, referees, regional representatives, and Regional League Co-ordinator David Callaghan for delivering a fantastic opening day and a strong start to the Men’s O65’s leagues in the East of Scotland.

We now look forward to Round 2 on Friday 15th May, where the early battles at the top will continue to unfold. ⚽
