Invite to International Event Statement

Statement from WFS President David Winnie

Walking Football Scotland has recently received an invitation, through the Scottish FA, to consider entering a Scotland team in the Walking Football Euro Cup in Nyon, Switzerland, on 24–25 June.

We are pleased to have received this opportunity and appreciate the support of the Scottish FA and Scottish Para-Football.

As the invitation has only just been received, the WFS Board is currently considering the best way to proceed and reviewing the practical and financial implications of participation.

We appreciate the interest shown and will update members further once discussions have taken place and a decision has been reached.
