WFS Scottish Cup & Festival 2026

The 2026 Walking Football Scotland Scottish Cup & Festival once again proved to be a record-breaking celebration of the game, with an incredible 96 clubs and just under 1,000 players taking part across the various competitions at Glasgow Green Football Centre – making it once again, the biggest one day walking football event in the world!

This year’s competition again sponsored by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, also marked another significant milestone with the introduction of the inaugural Men’s Over-75s category, further demonstrating the continued growth of the game. This year kicked of ‘Summer of Sport’ funding which we’ve been grateful to be recipients of from the Scottish FA and Scottish Government, and it was also fantastic to see an increased number of Parkinson’s teams participating, highlighting the positive impact the sport continues to have on health, wellbeing and community engagement.
