SWF WFS O50's Women's Premiership

The WFS SWF O50’s Women’s Premiership resumed today at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility for the penultimate round of the 2026 season, with the title race continuing to provide plenty of excitement ahead of the final league day in October.

After today’s round of fixtures, it is now advantage Braehead FC – Reds.

Braehead have opened up a three-point lead at the top of the Premiership, with just two matches remaining, putting them in a strong position heading into the season finale.

Their closest challengers, Rangers FFIT, remain firmly in the hunt and have already shown this season that they can get the better of Braehead, having defeated them in the Scottish Cup Final earlier this year.

With only three points separating the title contenders and six points still available, nothing is decided yet. It sets up a fascinating final league day in October as Braehead FC – Reds and Rangers FFIT battle it out for the Premiership title. 🏆

A big thank you to all our clubs, players, referees and regional league co-ordinator David Callaghan, for their continued support and contribution to another fantastic day of women’s walking football at Ravenscraig.

Two games remaining. Three points separating the top two. The title will be decided in October! ⚽🏆
