WFS O65's East Premiership
/The WFS Men’s O65’s East of Scotland League resumes this Friday, 22nd August, at the Oriam National Performance Centre, with the title race entering a crucial stage.
North Lanarkshire Council currently lead the standings, holding a four-point advantage over both Hearts and Alloa Athletic. However, their grip on top spot could be tested in Game 2, when they face Alloa in a fixture that has the potential to reshape the league table.
A victory for North Lanarkshire would push them closer to sealing the title, but an Alloa win could close the gap and Hearts are certainly also in the mix. With all three sides still in with a realistic chance of lifting the trophy, every pass and goal will matter.
We can expect competitive, high-quality walking football, with squads looking to combine skill, teamwork, and tactical nous in pursuit of crucial points.
