WFS O60's Men's East of Scotland Leagues
/The WFS Men’s Over 60’s East of Scotland League gets underway on Wednesday 18th February at the Oriam National Performance Centre, with an early start to what promises to be an exciting and competitive new season of walking football.
The Premiership opens with some standout fixtures straight away. Last season’s champions Alloa Athletic – Gold begin their title defence against Linlithgow Rose CFC, while Championship winners North Lanarkshire Council will take on last year’s runners-up and newly promoted Alloa Athletic - Black in their first matches as they step up to the top flight.
In the Championship, both Hearts 98’s and Oriam 2015 will be aiming to bounce straight back to the Premiership, but they’ll face stiff competition in what looks to be a very strong and competitive division, with plenty of teams eager to make the step up this year.
We’re also delighted to welcome Sauchie Juniors back to competitive league action, as they take their place in the Championship for the upcoming campaign.
We wish all teams the very best for the new season and look forward to a great opening night of walking football at Oriam.
