WFS O60's Men's Regional Trophy - South West Champions!

The first of Walking Football Scotland’s 2026 Regional Trophy events took place at Toryglen Regional Football Centre, with the O60’s Men’s Regional Trophy, proudly funded by Summer of Sport, kicking off this exciting series of regional competitions.

Bringing together players representing regions from across Scotland, the event provided another fantastic opportunity to showcase the quality, competitiveness and camaraderie within walking football.

After four matches, it was the South West Region who came out on top, producing an excellent team performance to be crowned 2026 WFS O60’s Men’s Regional Trophy Winners with the trophy presented by WFS CEO Matt Ramsay! 🏆

A huge congratulations to all the South West players and their management team of David Howie, Stephen Galloway and Hugh McKay, whose efforts and commitment helped guide the region to success.

The Regional Trophy events are a fantastic celebration of walking football, giving players the opportunity to represent their regions while strengthening friendships and connections across the game.

A special thank you goes to all participating players, regional management teams, volunteers and referees for helping make the opening event such a success.

Congratulations once again to the South West Region — our 2026 O60’s Men’s Regional Trophy Winners! 👏⚽🏆

We look forward to the remaining Regional Trophy events as the 2026 programme continues!
