WFS O60's Men's West of Scotland Leagues
/The WFS O60’s Men’s West of Scotland Leagues recommenced today at Toryglen Regional Football Centre, as both divisions entered the business end of the 2026 competitive season.
In the Premiership, Pollok Utd have taken a significant step forward in the title race, extending their advantage at the top of the table to seven points.
With only four matches remaining, Pollok have put themselves in a very strong position heading into the final league date. There are still points to be won, however, and nothing will be taken for granted until the title is mathematically secured.
In the Championship, the title race has tightened considerably after a huge top-two clash between Ardencaple and Saint Anthony’s – Whites.
It was Saint Anthony’s – Whites who came out on top, cutting Ardencaple’s advantage at the summit to just one point with only one league date remaining.
That result ensures there is still everything to play for when the Championship reaches its conclusion, with Ardencaple holding the advantage but Saint Anthony’s – Whites now right on their heels.
It sets up another exciting finale at Toryglen, with the Premiership and Championship titles still to be officially decided when the teams return for their final fixtures.
A big thank you to all our players, clubs and referees, along with Regional League Co-ordinator Derek King, for their continued support and another excellent day of competitive walking football.
One league day to go – who will finish the season as champions? ⚽🏆
