WFS O50's Men's West Leagues
/The WFS O50’s Men’s West of Scotland Leagues returned today at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, delivering another exciting round of competitive walking football across all divisions.
In the Premiership, it was an excellent day for Carrick WFC, who recorded four wins from four, including an impressive victory over league leaders Saint Anthony’s – Greens. That result sees Carrick close the gap to just one point at the top, setting up an intriguing title race.
The Championship remains incredibly tight, with Motherwell Phoenix now sitting top at the halfway stage, but with only two points separating the top three clubs, it’s all to play for in the coming rounds.
In the Conference, Alloa Athletic continued their impressive unbeaten start to the season and have now opened up a four-point lead at the top. Morton FC sit in second place after a strong day overall, despite a narrow 1–0 defeat to the league leaders.
