WFS O75's Men's National Premiership - Fife Wanderers Champions!

History was made today at Toryglen Regional Football Centre as the inaugural WFS O75’s Men’s National Premiership reached its conclusion, with Fife Wanderers crowned our first-ever champions! 🏆

The Fifers arrived at Toryglen holding a five-point advantage over nearest challengers Ayr United, but there was an early scare as Ayr defeated the league leaders, cutting the gap at the top to just one point after a draw in a previous match and setting up a dramatic finish to the season.

However, Fife Wanderers held their nerve when it mattered most, winning their next two matches to secure the title and write their names into the Walking Football Scotland history books as our inaugural O75’s National Premiership Champions!

The champions were presented with their league trophy and winners’ medals by WFS Ambassador Gordon Smith, marking a special moment for the club and for this exciting new age category.

Congratulations also to Ayr United, Morton FC and North Lanarkshire Council, who finished second, third and fourth respectively, securing their places in the WFS Champions League on Monday 30th November, where they will compete for another prestigious trophy.

Beyond the results, what a fantastic success our first-ever O75’s National Premiership has been! The enthusiasm, commitment, friendships and competitive spirit shown by everyone throughout the season have demonstrated exactly what walking football is all about.

Age is no barrier to enjoying football, competing for trophies and being part of something special! 👏⚽

A huge congratulations and thank you to all our players and clubs for making this inaugural season such a success. Thanks also to our referees for their contribution to today's final fixtures and throughout the competition.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2027 as we continue to grow walking football and provide opportunities for people to keep playing the beautiful game for as long as possible.

Congratulations, Fife Wanderers – our first-ever WFS O75’s Men’s National Premiership Champions! 🏆💛🖤
