WFS O60's Men's East of Scotland Leagues

What a day it has been at Oriam National Performance Centre, as the WFS O60’s Men’s East of Scotland Leagues recommenced for the penultimate round of the 2026 season!

The Premiership title race could hardly be any tighter. Hearts 56’ will head into the final league day sitting top of the table with a slender one-point advantage.

But there is absolutely no room for error. Just two points separate the top three clubs, while only four points separate the top four. With four matches still to play, the Premiership title remains well and truly up for grabs and will go right down to the final games of the season.

There has been a dramatic turnaround in the Championship too. Hibernian CF arrived at Oriam sitting two points behind rivals Hearts 98’, but by the end of today’s fixtures the tables had completely turned.

The Hibees have surged to the top and opened up a six-point lead, putting themselves in a fantastic position with just four matches remaining. Hearts 98’ still have points to fight for, though, meaning there could yet be another twist before the Championship is decided.

A huge thank you to all our players, clubs, referees and regional representatives, along with Regional League Co-ordinator David Callaghan, for their contribution to another fantastic day of competitive walking football at Oriam.

Four games to go. Titles still to be won. It’s all set for a brilliant East of Scotland finale! ⚽🏆
