O40's WOMEN'S PREMIERSHIP & CHAMPIONSHIP

It was a standout day for Braehead FC at the WFS O40's Women's Premiership Round 2, held today at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, as the club took control at the top of both the Premiership and Championship tables.

In the Premiership, Braehead – Reds continued their unbeaten run, making it six wins from six as they claimed another vital victory, this time against 2nd-placed Linlithgow Rose – Whites. Their consistent form has opened up a commanding 5-point lead at the halfway stage of the season.

Over in the Championship, Braehead – Blacks also impressed, winning all three of their fixtures to go joint top with Tay City Strollers. Braehead – Blacks edge the standings by a single goal, making for an exciting battle as both sides head into the second half of the campaign.

We extend our thanks to all the players, referees, and volunteers for contributing to another fantastic day of walking football. We now look forward to welcoming everyone back for the second half of the season on Sunday, 7th September.
