Arthur Duncan Award 2025 Nominees Announced

We are delighted to announce the 2025 nominees for the prestigious Arthur Duncan Award 2025, an honour that recognises individuals who embody the spirit, dedication, and sportsmanship that defined Arthur Duncan’s remarkable legacy.

The Arthur Duncan Award celebrates those who have made outstanding contributions to walking football—whether through leadership, commitment to community, exceptional playing spirit, or support for the development of the game across Scotland.

This year’s shortlist highlights a diverse and inspiring group of nominees from clubs across the country:

• Paul Rendall – Oriam

• Richard Gdulewicz – Dunbar

• Richard Sinclair – Alloa Athletic

Each nominee has demonstrated exceptional commitment to walking football, helping grow participation, fostering positive environments, and setting standards of fairness and respect both on and off the pitch.

The winner of the Arthur Duncan Award 2025 is selected by the Walking Football Scotland board of trustees, with the announcement to be made in the New Year.
